Memory Verses
This is where I'm going to keep a running list of the scriptures I'd like to commit to memory. I've never been very good at memorizing things, but I'm going to give it another shot. This is not necessarily in the order I'm going to memorize them. It's mostly in the order that I come across them in my studies. But I may move which ever one I'm currently working on to the top. So don't be surprised if the order is a little different sometimes.

John 1:1-3 ESV
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made."
Matthew 6:31-34 ESV
"Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kindgom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is it's own trouble."
1 Peter 4:1-2 ESV
"Since therefore Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves with the same way of thinking, for whoever has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, so as to live for the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human passions but for the will of God."
John 14:6 ESV
"Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Genesis 1:1 ESV
"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."
2 Timothy 3:16 ESV
"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, ..."
