Prayer List

My dad has had several knee replacement surgeries and a hip replacement. One of his knees keeps getting infected and they don't seem to know why. But he's going in today (10/31/05) for another surgery. My prayer is that he come through the surgery with no problems and that his knee heal correctly this time, and not get infected again.
Update: Dad's knee surgery went well. The doctor said it went better than he expected. My stepmother said that the doctor told her that it was an unusually resistant form of staph. The all staph is resistant. But apparently this one is worse than most. Which explains why they're having so much trouble getting rid of it.

Ken (Glenda's nephew) and his family - lost his 12 yr. old daughter in a parade accident, then was himself involved in a motorcycle accident and is in icu. I can't even imagine the pain his wife and 16 yr. old son have to be going through right now.
